O R D E R

% 08.07.2017 The learned Tribunal has passed an award of an amount of Rs.4,65,000/- along with interest @ 7.5% per annum from the date of filing of the petition. It is submitted by both the counsels that they are

inclined to settle the matter if an amount of Rs.3 lakhs is paid by the respondent Insurance Company over and above the amount so awarded by the learned Tribunal and that on payment of that amount this appeal for enhancement filed by the appellant Sohan Pal shall be withdrawn. Secondly, another appeal filed by the Insurance Company for reduction of the amount shall also be withdrawn by the Insurance Company. The amount shall be deposited by the Insurance Company in MAC.APP. 179/2014 within two weeks from today lest it shall bear interest @ 9% per annum from the date of default. Further in MAC.APP. 1046/2013, the statutory amount of Rs. 25,000/-, if deposited, shall be returned to the Insurance Company. The balance so deposited be released in favour of the claimants on completion of formalities.

Both the appeals stand disposed of.
