W.P.(C) 6724/2016 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking a direction to the respondent to release the petitioner's share of compensation payable on account of death of his father, mother and siblings in 1984 anti Sikh riots as per the policy of the Government. The contention of the petitioner is that several applications have been made which are annexed as Annexure - A4 to A6 and despite repeated applications having been made, the respondent has not decided the same. The writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to WP(C) 6724/2016

decide the applications of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks by conducting an appropriate inquiry in accordance with law.
