% 25.07.2016 The matter was directed to be listed in the supplementary list after Mr. Rahul Mehra, Standing Counsel (Criminal) had appeared and stated that Kajal and Arun have come from Mumbai and are present in the Court. It was also stated that Kajal's statement under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been recorded by the Metropolitan Magistrate. Kajal, who has appeared in person, has interacted with Ms. Pallavi S. Kansal, Advocate representing Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee. Kajal has stated that she has got married to Arun as per her wishes and desire and both of them are happily living in Mumbai.

The marriage is not acceptable to the parents and family members of Kajal and Arun.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that Kajal is less than 18 years of age, as her date of birth recorded in the school leaving certificate is 8th July, 1999. Kajal has, however, produced AADHAR card before us in which her date of birth is recorded as 8th July, 1998. In this writ petition, we would not like to examine and go into this controversy. We notice that First Information Report No. 241/2016 under Section 363 IPC has been registered at Police Station New Friends Colony. The question of age, etc. will be determined and decided as per law. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of. The next date of hearing fixed on 17th August, 2016 is cancelled. SANJIV KHANNA, J.
