W.P.(C) 7571/2016 & C.M. No.31221/2016 There are 11 petitioners before this Court. They are stated to be vending at different sites at Kalkaji Mandir, Nehru Place Bus Terminus. They have filed certain documents which as per the

respondent (who has appeared on advance notice) are illegible copies of prosecution challans. Her submission is that qua petitioner nos.8 and 11 the documents do not match.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that in view of the promulgation of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014, Section 3(3) of the said Act gives them adequate protection and no street vender shall be evicted/relocated till a survey specified under Section 3(1) of the said Act is complete and a certificate of vending is issued to the street vendor. Learned counsel for the petitioner additionally submits that he has given a representation to the respondent no.2 dated 31.5.2016. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the TVC which has been envisaged in the aforenoted Act has not been constituted qua respondent no.2. It is accordingly made clear that as and when the TVC qua respondent no.2 is constituted, the grievance of the petitioner shall be addressed before the said Committee. No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
