Mr. S.K. Sethi, Adv.

versus STATE ..... Respondent Through:

Ms. Richa Kapoor, ASC and Mr.

Ashish Negi, Adv. along with SI Neeraj, South Rohini.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 03.08.2016 Petitioner's parole application has been declined by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi vide order dated 24th May, 2016. It may be noted that petitioner has surrendered on 15th May, 2016 after availing furlough for three weeks. Even in the year 2015, petitioner had availed furlough thrice on different occasions. Accordingly, the ground of maintaining social ties is not convincing. As regards the plea of petitioner that she wants to look after her grandson, it may be noted that petitioner's two sons are already there, inasmuch as, parents of grandson are also there to look after him. In these facts, no cogent ground has been made out for grant of parole to the petitioner.

Writ petition is dismissed.
