% 11.04.2017 By the abovementioned writ petitions, petitioners have prayed for quashing of cross FIRs, details whereof are as under :-

FIR No. 916/15 under Sections 354/323/341/506/34 IPC registered at police station South Rohini, on the complaint of Ms. Neha Goel (respondent no.2 in W.P. (Cr1.) 1020/17); and FIR No. 923/15 under Sections 354/323/341/506/34 IPC registered at police station South Rohini, on the complaint of Ms. Anju Maini (respondent no.2 in W.P. (Cr1.) 1027/17). Ms. Neha Goel and Ms. Anju Maini (complainants) are present in Court and have been identified by SI Lichhman of P.S. South Rohini. They submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners (accused persons) of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They further submit that they are not willing to pursue their respective FIRs, in view of the settlement and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and private respondents, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 916/15 under Sections 354/323/341/506/34 IPC and FIR No. 923/15 under Sections 354/323/341/506/34 IPC both registered at police station South Rohini, which are at the investigation stage, are quashed. Both the writ petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. APRIL 11, 201 7/ga AK. P AK, J.
