W.P.(C) 6223/2016 & C.M. No.25445/2016 The petitioner is stated to be an unlicensed squatter purported to be having his stall since the year 1980 near ladies toilet, Sarojini Nagar, Market, New Delhi. To substantiate this submission, he has placed on record certain challans which are dated 04.08.1999 and 14.05.2001. His submission is that he is protection u/s 3 (3) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 and he will approach the TVC. This submission is countered by the learned counsel for the respondent who has put an appearance on advance notice. His
submission is that the petitioner being unlicensed squatter is not entitled to any protection. It is however an admitted position that a TVC has been constituted qua the NDMC area.
No further orders are called for on this petition. It is disposed of.
