% 08.08.2018 It is submitted that petitioner (wife) and respondent no. 3 (husband) have started living together after settling their disputes vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 10th July, 2018, therefore, FIR No. 967/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Shahbad Dairy. Petitioner is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Ved Prakash of police station Shahbad Dairy. She submits that presently she is living with her husband and has no grievance against him or his relatives.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.3 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be
served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
