% 01.08.2016 Ms. Asha Devi, respondent No.3 has appeared in person along with her father-Mahavir Singh, respondent No.2 and brother-Rajesh. We requested Ms. Pallavi S. Kansal, Advocate representing Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee to interact with Asha Devi. Later on we also spoke to Ms.Asha Devi in the chamber in the presence of Ms. Pallavi S. Kansal, Advocate. Mahavir Singh and Mr. Rajesh were also called in the chamber. We have also spoken to Mr. Kishan in the chamber.
Ms. Asha Devi, in the open Court, has stated that she does not
want to go and reside with Veer Singh. We take this statement on record. It is open to Asha Devi to live on her own. She need not accompany Mahavir Singh or Rajesh.
The mobile number of two police officers will be made available to Ms.Asha Devi and it will be open to her to contact such police officers in case of need. Mr.Mahavir Singh states that they are in possession of mobile phone of Ms.Asha Devi and the same will be handed over to the police officers of PS Jyoti Nagar to be thereafter handed over to Ms.Asha Devi.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Dasti.
