CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 12.05.2015 Petitioner seeks parole on the ground of searching a suitable match for his daughter of marriageable age. Petitioner has been released on furlough by the jail authority on various earlier occasions and has not misused the concession accorded to him. Broadly stated that petitioner had surrendered in jail on completion of furlough period except that on three occasions, he surrendered late by one or two days.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it can be on account of calculation error by the petitioner regarding the furlough period.
Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a period of one month from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a
personal bond in the sum of `10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. During the parole period, petitioner shall report to the Station House Officer of the concerned Police Station once a week, i.e., on Mondays at 10:00 am. On completion of parole period, petitioner shall surrender before the Superintendent Jail. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for serving it upon the petitioner and for compliance.
