By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks repair of footpath in front of Shop Nos.225, 234, 250, 385, 392, 396, 470, 866, 980, 1133, 1139, 1210, 1222, 1399 and 1450 in the area between Fatehpuri Mosque and Red Fort. We are informed that this would require to be done by the Public Works Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

There can be no possible objection to grant such prayer. The Govt. of NCT of Delhi through Public Works Department is, therefore, directed to ensure that the area in question is inspected and the needful be done.
