The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "Direct the respondents to grant provisional registration to the petitioner.

Further issue appropriate writ, order or direction thereby taking action against the authorities who failed to act in accordance with law, despite repeated complaints made by the petitioner."

Mr Singhdev, learned counsel for the respondents has handed over a communication dated 24.02.2014 which is addressed by the respondents to the Registrars of All State Medical Councils in India. Paragraph 5 of the said

communication reads as under:- "All the persons, who have obtained primary medical qualification from foreign country, are also advised to get their names enrolled on the State Medical Registrar so as to ensure that they are able to avail all the rights and privileges conferred upon by the Indian Medical Council."

In view of this communication, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition in order to approach the concerned State Medical Council. He further seeks liberty to file afresh in the event a cause so arises.
