% 24.08.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no.1/DJB to give water connection in petitioner's name at property bearing No.C-II/46, New Ashok Nagar, Delhi. Petitioner further seeks a direction to respondent no.2/EDMC to remove the illegal borewell dug inside his premises. Petitioner also seeks a direction to respondent nos.3 to 11 who are his mother and brothers and sisters-in-law to give NOC with respect to water connection in petitioner's name.

A perusal of the paper book reveals that civil suit no.2522/2010 filed by respondent no.11 is pending before Karkardooma Court. Consequently, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner should approach the Civil Court for the reliefs prayed for in the present writ petition. Petitioner is given liberty to file application for

the said reliefs.

Since water is a basic necessity, the Court hearing the said civil suit is directed to decide petitioner's application as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months in accordance with law. The Civil Court will also consider the prayer for removal of submersible pump in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, present writ petition stands disposed of.
