O R D E R

% 12.04.2017 The petitioner stood trial in criminal case arising out of FIR No. 864/1995 of police station Janak Puri on the charge for offence under Section 302 IPC and was convicted by the Sessions Court by judgment dated 17.11.97. It appears from the nominal roll that he had been released on bail pending hearing on the appeal it being Crl.A. 448/1998 which was disposed of by this Court by judgment dated 10.12.2013 converting the conviction into one for offence under Section 304- Part-I IPC, the sentence having been modified to rigorous imprisonment for ten years. The nominal roll dated 11.04.2017 indicates his conduct in jail has been satisfactory. He has suffered incarceration for over six years, the remainder being around two and half years.

The release on parole is sought on the ground that the marriage of the son of the petitioner is scheduled for 13.04.2017 at Pushp Vihar, New Delhi. W.P.(CRL) 1035/2017

In these facts and circumstances, the prayer is granted, the petitioner shall be released on parole for a period of three weeks, subject to he furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Registrar General. A copy of this order be given dasti under the signature of Court Master.
