O R D E R

% 31.08.2016 Respondent no. 3 is the grandson of petitioner. Petitioner has approached this Court seeking police protection. She has alleged in the petition that respondent no.3 has threatened her that he will throw her out of the house.

Respondent no. 3 is torturing and harassing her. Several complaints were made to the concerned authorities including police but no action has been taken.

Respondent no. 3 has remained unserved as house was found locked. However, Mr. S.K. Sahijpal, Advocate has appeared for the respondent no.

3. He submits that respondent no. 3 is not living in the same house, where petitioner is living. In half portion of the house, respondent no. 3's luggage is lying. It is submitted that property is a joint family property. Petitioner has herself mentioned in the petition that she has filed the suit for partition, which is pending. Learned counsel for the respondent no. 3 further submits that respondent no. 3 has all respect for the petitioner and has no intention to cause any harm to her nor to throw her out of the house forcibly. Property disputes can be resolved in the civil suit, which is pending. Learned Standing Counsel submits that Beat Constable has been sensitized.

Mobile phone numbers of Beat Constable, Divisional Officer and Station House Officer concerned have also been provided to the petitioner to whom she may contact in case of threat. In view of the statement of learned counsel for the respondent no. 3 and the fact that Beat staff has been sensitized, inasmuch as mobile phone numbers of concerned police officials have been provided to the petitioner, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
