W.P.(C) 8219/2018 and CM No. 31493/2018 (Stay) The present writ petition has been filed with the prayer to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 11.05.2018 and thereby grant him employment as a regular serviceman in capacity of handyman in AIATSL (Air India Air Transport Services Ltd.) with the consequential benefits. At the outset, counsel for the Petitioner has submitted that he had already filed the representations dated 12.02.2018 as well as 11.05.2018. The cause of the Petitioner would satisfy if the representations filed by the Petitioners are decided and the decision may be made at the earliest.

In the facts and the circumstances, the counsel for the Respondent Nos. 2 to 6 submits that four weeks' period is required for deciding the representation of the Petitioner.

In the facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to Respondent Nos. 2 to 6 to decide the representation within a period of 30 days. It is made clear that if the Petitioner is aggrieved by the decision taken on the representation, the Petitioner would be at liberty to approach the Court and the ground taken in the present writ petition would be available to them.

Writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations. Pending application, if any, stands disposed of.
