W.P.(C) 6425/2016 At the outset, Mr. Vikas Singh, learned Senior Counsel for respondent no.2, Medical Council of India (MCI), has raised a preliminary objection with regard to the maintainability of the writ petition on the ground of lack of territorial jurisdiction. Learned Senior Counsel for respondent no.2 submits that the petitioner had approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court and filed W.P.(C).21617/2015 titled Anil Neerukonda Educational Society v. Union of India for the academic year 2015-16. The writ petition was dismissed as

withdrawn, which fact is not disputed by the petitioner. Mr. Gupta, learned Senior Counsel submits that without entering into any controversy he, on instructions, seeks to withdraw the petition to enable him to approach the appropriate forum of jurisdiction.

Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners to approach the appropriate court of jurisdiction.
