The petitioner was released on parole for the period of four weeks as per the order of Administrator of the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, for the period beginning 21.03.2017, his due date of surrender being 19.04.2017. By the petition at hand, he seeks enlargement of the said period. The grounds on which he was allowed release on parole for the period of four weeks were essentially need for urgent medical treatment of his old aged parents. Though the inquiry by the SHO, PS Nangloi, as indicated in the status report, does indicate that the father is suspected to be a patient of liver cancer and the mother is suffering from certain eye disease, there is no medical advice as on date for surgical procedures to be undergone by either of them. The medical conditions of both the parents are apparently being managed by treatment presently prescribed.

No good ground for enlargement of the period of parole. Petitioner must surrender to custody on expiry of the present period of parole. Petition is dismissed.
