Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the order dated 21.03.2018 passed by the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal Nos. 1802218053/2017 entitled Union of India & Ors. Vs. Ganga Ram Etc., whereby the judgment dated 22.02.2011 passed by the High Court of Himachal Pradesh at Shimla in a batch of petitions, has been quashed and set aside, he does not wish to press the present petition.
