% 15.02.2017 By the present petition, the petitioner, who is the father of the prosecutrix, has sought cancellation of the bail granted to respondent No.2 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge vide order dated 23rd June, 2016. Since after the present petition was filed, provisions of Sections 3(1)(e), 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(w) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 have been invoked, respondent No.2 has been taken into custody and is presently in judicial custody. Learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions thus seeks leave to withdraw the present petition as the same has become infructuous. Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
