% 25.07.2016 Crl.M.A. No.11035/2016 Exemption allowed subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.

W.P.(CRL) 2118/2016 This petition has been filed to seek the quashing of FIR no.190/2014 under Section 323/341/506 IPC registered at PS Jaffarpur Kalam. The said FIR came to be registered on the complaint of respondent No.2 against the petitioners. The petition is premised on a settlement arrived at between the parties. Respondent No.2, who is present in court, has also filed an affidavit in support of the petition for quashing the FIR in view of the settlement

arrived at and states that he has no objection to the quashing of the FIR. He is identified by the I.O. He states that he joins the prayer for quashing the FIR in view of the settlement. He also states that the same has been arrived at out of his own free will and without any undue pressure or coercion. In the aforesaid circumstances, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the FIR and the proceedings arising therefrom pending. Accordingly, the FIR stands quashed.
