% 02.05.2017 The status report further submitted sets out a series of instances of misconduct by the petitioner in jail including those in the nature of assault on the other inmates and jail officials besides carrying contraband into the jail. The last such misconduct for which jail punishment has been awarded, occurred as late as March 2017. In these circumstances, no good case made out for grant of the prayer for release on parole.

Dismissed.
