At the outset, learned counsel for the respondent hands over a letter dated 01.10.2018, addressed by the Deputy Chief General Manager (P) - II stating inter alia that the DTC Management has decided to give an appointment to the petitioner with the condition that he will be taken afresh with no back wages subject to his medical fitness as per DTC's norms. Further, the petitioner has to possess a valid driving licence which will be verified by the DTC before giving him appointment. 2.
A copy of the letter dated 01.10.2018 is taken on record, with a copy furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner, who states that the petitioner is willing accept the conditions of appointment as laid down in the letter dated 01.10.2018.

In view of the above development, we need not examine the impugned order on merits. The petition is disposed of alongwith the pending application with directions issued to the petitioner to appear before the Deputy Chief General Manager (P) - II, DTC within one week from today for his case to be processed for appointment. If the petitioner is found fit in terms of the norms laid down by the respondent/DTC, then a letter of appointment shall be issued to him within two weeks from the date he reports to the respondent.
