This is an application for advancement of the date of hearing. 2.

Issue notice. Mr. Gupta accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 3.

Learned counsel says that he has no objection to the prayer made in the application being allowed.

Accordingly, the application is allowed.

The main matter is taken up for hearing with the consent of learned counsel for the parties today.

Mr. Gupta, who, enters appearance today on behalf of the respondent, says, that he does not wish to file a reply as he has no objection to the prayer made in the petition for extension of time.

The record shows that this Court vide order dated 2.01.2017 in O.M.P. (COMM) 586/2016, appointed an Arbitrator in the matter. 8.

The record also shows that the learned Arbitrator filed its declaration of acceptance and statement of independence with the Delhi International Arbitration Centre ('Centre') on 31.1.2017.

It appears that on account of parties taking too long to complete the pleadings, the statutory period prescribed under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (Centre) and the rules of the Centre came to an end. 10.

The learned Arbitrator have recorded these aspects of the matter in the proceedings of 8.6.2018.

I am told that the petitioner has to file his rejoinder in the matter. 12.

Having regard to the time and money invested by the parties, I am inclined to grant further twelve (12) months for completion of the arbitration proceedings, albeit, with effect from 29.5.2018. 13.

In order to hasten the proceedings, the parties will appear before the Centre on 10.10.2018 at 3:00 p.m.

Consequently, the date fixed in the matter, i.e. 10.12.2018 shall stand cancelled.
