Having perused the order dated June 15, 2016 we find the same to be perfunctory and sans any reason.

Due to the tenure of the Chairperson of DRAT functioning from Delhi being over, DRAT Kolkata has been given concurrent charge to function at Delhi as well.

As of today the person presiding over as DRAT at Kolkata is not available at Delhi. DRAT at Delhi would be functioning for ten days at Delhi commencing from August 01, 2016 till August 10, 2016. W.P.(C) 6455/2016

The petitioner has filed an appeal against the impugned order but the urgency relates to grant of an interim protection for the reason learned DRT has, without any reason, reduced the outstanding demand. 5.

The petitioner is facing contempt proceedings. 6.

We dispose of the writ petition staying the contempt proceedings initiated against the petitioner for non-compliance of the order dated June 15, 2016. Learned Presiding Officer of DRAT shall take up the application seeking interim stay and till either said application is decided or the appeal is decided the order passed by us today shall enure. 7.

Needless to state, DRAT shall decide the appeal against the impugned order dated June 15, 2016 without being influenced by any observation made by us.

Writ petition is disposed of.

No costs.

Copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the petitioner under the signature of Court Master.
