% 27.02.2020 CM APPL. 53478/2019 in CM(M) 863/2018 Pursuant to the last order, the counsel for the Income Tax Department has informed the Court that a sum of Rs.99,59,260/- has been claimed by the Assessee in his ITR for the AY 2019-20 as a refund, however, the said claim is yet to be verified.

The Income Tax Department to now check the refund claims of the Petitioner, Respondent No.3, 4, 5 and 6 and also verify as to whether the said claims are genuine and place the exact status on the next date. The Department shall also inform the Court as to by when the refund will be processed, if duly verified.
