% 29.07.2016 Crl.M.A. No.11389/2016 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.

W.P.(CRL) 2175/2016 & Crl.M.A. No.11390/2016 Issue notice. Notice is accepted by ASC on behalf of the State. Counsel puts in appearance and accepts notice on behalf of respondent nos.2 to 4. She states that the vakalatnama has already been filed on behalf of respondents.

This petition has been filed to seek the quashing of FIR No.156/2016 registered at PS Vasant Kunj (South) under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act against the petitioner on the complaint of respondent No.2. The petition is premised on a settlement arrived at between the parties. Respondent No.2 has issued a letter dated 20.07.2016 stating that the civil liability has been settled by the petitioner and that respondent No.2 has no objection if the case is not pursued any further. Counsel for respondent nos.2 to 4 submits on instructions that respondent nos.2 to 4 also joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

In view of the aforesaid, the petition is allowed and the FIR stands quashed, subject to deposit of Rs.10,000/- with the Prime Minster's National Relief Fund within two weeks. Copy of receipt of costs be furnished to the I.O.
