W.P.(C) 6454/2016 & CM No.26434/2016(stay) Learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits that he has received correspondence from Athletic Federation of India and states that last date for nomination for a qualified athlete to represent India in the Olympics at Rio 2016 was 18.07.2016.

In view of the above statement, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw the present petition to take appropriate remedies available in law.

The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
