% 01.09.2016 Respondent nos. 5 and 6 are parents of petitioner no.2; whereas respondent no. 7 is her brother. Petitioner no. 2 has married petitioner no.1 against the wishes of her family members.
Apprehending threat to their lives, petitioners have approached this Court by way of present writ petition. Vide order dated 27th July, 2016, respondent nos. 3 and 4 were directed to ensure safety of the petitioners.
Learned ASC for the State submits that petitioners have changed their residence.
Petitioners, who are present in Court along with their counsel, state that they have shifted to House No. 2/6, Rama Vihar, New Delhi which falls within the jurisdiction of police station Begumpur. Accordingly, SHO of police station Begumpur is impleaded as respondent no. 8. Amended memo
of parties be filed during course of the day. Respondent nos. 5 to 7 are present in Court today. They submit that they have never threatened or caused any harm to the petitioners nor have any intention to do so in future.
Accordingly, present writ petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent no. 8 to sensitize the beat constable to visit the petitioners regularly in order to ensure their safety.
Respondent no. 8 shall also provide mobile numbers of Beat Constable and Division Officer so that petitioners may contact on the said numbers in case of any threat. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
