The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning the order dated 19.07.2016 passed by respondent no.2 withdrawing the permission to uplink and downlink signals for TV channels operated by the petitioner company on account of certain security concerns expressed by respondent no.3.

Learned counsel for the respondents states that they shall re-examine the matter and take an independent view.

In view of the aforesaid, the present petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to re-examine the question of granting permission to the petitioner uninfluenced by the impugned order dated 19.07.2016

passed by respondent no.2.

The present petition will be considered as a representation for the aforesaid purpose and the concerned authority shall take a decision after affording the petitioner adequate opportunity(s) to be heard. The order be passed within a period of twelve weeks from today. 5.
