% 30.07.2018 Crl.M.A. No. 28689/2018 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.
W.P.(CRL) 2243/2018 Issue notice. Mr. Mehra accepts notice on behalf of the State. He has tendered in Court the status report which is taken on record. The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition to seek a writ of habeas corpus for production of his wife- Poonam who the petitioner claims has been detained by respondent No.4-father of Poonam. The petitioner states that he got married to Poonam on 11.10.2017. The parents of Poonam
are not agreeable to the said marriage and Poonam is not being allowed to join the company of the petitioner.
As per the status report Poonam does not deny the fact she has got married to the petitioner, however, she is not willing to live with the petitioner. Poonam is also present in Court, so is the petitioner. We have interacted with both of them in chamber. Since Poonam is not agreeable to join the company of the petitioner and since Poonam is a major, no further orders are called for in the present petition. Poonam has stated that her educational qualification documents are in the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner admits this position and submits that the same shall be returned to the I.O. concerned during the course of the day.
The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. VIPIN SANGHI, J I.S.MEHTA, J JULY 30, 2018 N.Khanna
