Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.1 submits that vide order dated 10.11.2023, it was placed on record that the petitioner had already refunded the amount in accordance with law. The fact regarding closure of the petitioner-Society w.e.f. 01.04.2022 was also placed on record vide the same order. According to him, the cause raised in the instant writ petition no more survives.

Learned counsel for respondent No.1 further states that on 12.12.2023, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner took time to verify the aforesaid aspect. He, then, contends that till date there is nothing placed on record by the petitioner to indicate otherwise. 3.
