% 27.07.2018 Issue notice. Mr. Mehra accepts notice on behalf of the State. The status report tendered in court is taken on record. The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition to seek a writ of habeas corpus for production of his wife Ruksana. The petitioner states that she was taken away by her parents, i.e. respondent nos.5 and 6. The petitioner and Ruksana are both present in court. We have interacted with them in chamber. We have counselled both the petitioner and Ruksana in chamber. Ruksana has agreed to go back and live with the petitioner today itself. She states that after returning from the court, she shall pick up her belongings and will return to the matrimonial home with

the petitioner. She also states that her complaint made to the police vide DD No.49B dated 12.07.2018 against the petitioner, her sister-in-law and mother-in-law may be treated as withdrawn. The police is directed to treat the said complaint as withdrawn.

The petitioner has assured that he shall not resort to any violence against Ruksana. Ruksana has also assured that she shall take care of her matrimonial home, the petitioner and the minor child, and shall not leave her matrimonial home except to visit her parents and relatives, without the consent of the petitioner.
