Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the new policy put in place by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity, the reliefs sought in prayer clauses (a), (b) and (c) have become infructuous. 2.

Furthermore, it is stated that insofar as prayer clause (d) is concerned, the petitioner would prefer to approach the civil court and, therefore, liberty be given in that behalf.

The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with the observations: that the reliefs sought for qua prayer clauses (a), (b) and (c) are not pressed. Insofar as prayer clause (d) is concerned, the petitioner, would be at liberty to take recourse to an appropriate remedy, albeit, in accordance with law. 4.

Pending application shall stand closed.
