% 07.11.2016 Crl.M.A. No.17324/2016 By this application the petitioners wish to implead the other accused in the case. The application is allowed. Amended memo of parties is taken on record.

W.P.(CRL) 2174/2016 The petitioners have preferred the present writ petition to seek the quashing of FIR No.235/12 under Sections 406/420/468/471/120-B and 34 IPC registered at Police Station Najafgarh, New Delhi on the basis of compromise arrived at between them and respondent No.2. The settlement has been arrived at between the parties in the mediation held at the

Mediation Centre at Dwarka Courts, New Delhi which has been placed on record. The petitioners except the petitioner No.5 are present in Court. Petitioner No.5 has not been able to appear as she had taken her child for an examination. Respondent No.2 is also present in Court, who is identified by the I.O. She states that in view of the settlement she does not want to pursue the complaint or proceedings arising therefrom, hence they be quashed. Looking into the nature of the allegation on the petitioner, the counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioners have expressed their remorse and willing to make a deposit with the Army Welfare Fund. Subject to the petitioners depositing a sum of Rs.50,000/- collectively with the Army Welfare Fund within two weeks, the proceedings are quashed. The receipt of the same shall be provided to the I.O. and only thereafter the case shall be closed.
