% 05.09.2016 This petition has been filed to seek quashing of the FIR No.29/2014 under Section 420/ 468/ 471/ 34 IPC registered at Police Station - Jaitpur against the petitioners on the complaint of respondent No.2. Respondent No.2/ complainant is the father of petitioner No.1. The allegation against the petitioners is that the petitioner No.1 sold the property of respondent No.2, to petitioner No.2 without having any authority. The parties have now entered into a settlement dated 21.07.2016. The MOU signed by the parties has been placed on record.

Respondent No.2 is present in Court with his counsel. He is identified by his counsel. Respondent No.2 states that he has received the possession of the plots in question from the petitioners and since they have acknowledged his right, title and interest in the property, he has no further grievance against the petitioners and he prays that the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom be quashed. Considering the fact that the petitioner is the son of respondent No.2/ complainant and in view of the fact that settlement agreement has been reached between the parties, no useful purpose would be served in pursuing further with the FIR and the proceeding emanating thereform. Accordingly, the FIR in question and the proceeding emanating thereform are quashed.
