CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 20.10.2016 Petitioner seeks parole for maintaining social ties with his family members and the society. Petitioner is in custody for the last five years.

It is trite to say that if a convict is released on parole once in a year, it would be to the benefit of his mental and physical well being. Petitioner was released on parole last year. It is not the case that he misused the concession of parole granted to him. Accordingly it is ordered that petitioner be released on parole for a period of one month from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent.

After expiry of parole period, petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent. Petition is disposed of accordingly.
