On the last date of hearing, learned counsel for the appellant has informed that the appellant had expired during COVID period. The I.O was directed to verify the aforesaid and submit a report today. Learned APP for State has handed over a copy of death verification report under the signatures of S.H.O., PS Sultan Puri, Delhi. The said report is accompanied by death certificate of one Geela Ram.

Learned APP for State submits that as per the inquiry conducted it has come on record that Deepak and Geela Ram are one and the same person and in this regard, statements of appellant's brother Dhanna Ram @ Dhaniya and one neighbor Mrs. Parmila r/o B-4/294 Sultan Puri has also been recorded. Further, death certificate mentions the name of the father of the appellant as Kishan Lal and address as B-4/296-297 Sultan Puri Delhi.
