% 28.08.2018 Issue notice.

Mr. Mehra, the learned Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the State.

The petitioner seeks parole for arranging the marriage of his younger son. His address has been verified by the Police. His conduct in jail is stated to be satisfactory. He has earlier been granted furlough and parole for four times and five times respectively, from the year 2016 till today and has not misused the said liberty on any occasion. In view of the foregoing, the Court finds no impediment in allowing the present petition. Consequently, the petitioner is enlarged on parole for a period of one month from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties of the like amount to the

satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent concerned, subject to the following conditions:- (1) The petitioner shall report to the SHO concerned, Police Station CBI, Lodhi Road, CGO Complex, New Delhi, once a week on every Tuesday during the period of parole;

(2) he shall furnish his telephone number, which shall be kept operational at all times, to the SHO concerned, so that the police could contact him;

(3) the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Authorities at the expiry of the period of parole.

Since the petitioner has been granted parole for the sake of arranging the marriage of his younger son, it is expected that he would not indulge in any activity other than the purpose for which it is so granted. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed-off. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under signatures of the Court Master and a copy of this order shall also be delivered upon the Jail Superintendent concerned, through the State. NAJMI WAZIRI, J.
