By this petition the petitioner seeks bail in case FIR No.605/2015 under Section 307 IPC registered at PS Jagatpuri. 2.

The complainant Sagar in the FIR alleged that he was studying in B.A. 2nd year vide correspondence course and doing private job. On 21st October, 2015 at about 8.30 PM while he was passing through the road adjoining Gurudwara Old Govind Pura a boy inquired as to what he was talking about him due to which an altercation took place. Later he also got to know that the boy was named Bharat. Bharat caught hold of him. In the meantime, Bharat's friend Harmeet came on a scooty. Thereafter Bharat gave him knife blows on his back resulting in injuries. As per the MLC the complainant suffered six injuries. The injured has been examined in Court and he has not identified the petitioner, as the assailant. BAIL APPLN. 1573/2016

Be that as it may, since material witnesses have been examined before the learned Trial Court and the petitioner has been in custody for more than one year, I deem it fit to grant bail to the petitioner. 4.

It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court further subject to the condition that he will not leave the country without prior permission of the court concerned.
