% 29.07.2016 Respondent nos. 2 to 5 are relatives of petitioner no.1. Petitioner no.
1 and respondent no.2 were married on 5th May, 2013. On account of marital discord between the parties, present FIR was registered against the petitioners on the complaint of respondent no.2. Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably. Their marriage has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 24th May, 2016 pursuant to the order passed by the Family Court, Dwarka, New Delhi.
Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by the Investigating Officer.
She admits having received entire settled amount. She has no objection for quashing of the FIR. Accordingly, FIR No.
261/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Baba
Haridas Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
