O R D E R

% 05.09.2016 By this writ petition, petitioner seeks parole for three months on the ground of filing SLP in the Supreme Court after arranging funds for the same. A perusal of nominal roll of petitioner shows that he has completed sentence of more than four and a half years out of seven years as awarded to him in Criminal Appeal No. 622/2014. Address of the petitioner has also been verified by the State. It is trite to say that every convict/accused is entitled to avail all the legal remedies, as may be available to him, upto the highest forum.

Keeping in mind the totality of circumstances, it is ordered that petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `10,000/-

(Rupees Ten Thousand only) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. During the parole period, petitioner shall report to the SHO of police station Sultanpuri once in 10 days on Mondays at 10:00 am. Petitioner shall not leave the territorial bounds of Delhi and after completion of parole period he shall surrender before the Superintendent Jail.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendent concerned for compliance.
