% 26.07.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.3 are friends; whereas respondent no.2 is father of respondent no.3. A quarrel took place between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 wherein respondent nos. 2 and 3 had sustained simple injury. This incident led to registration of FIR No. 979/2014 under Sections 308/452/506/34 IPC at police station Farsh Bajar, on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is further submitted that with the intervention of common friends, petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, aforesaid FIR may be quashed.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court and have been identified

by SI Kapil Khokar of police station Farsh Bajar. They submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, they have no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
