O R D E R
% 17.09.2018 The petitioner has been granted furlough upon furnishing one surety of Rs.20,000/- instead of two sureties of Rs. 10,000/- each alongwith a personal bond in the like amount. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks reduction of the surety amount to Rs. 4,000/- as was done earlier and that he be released on furlough for a personal bond of the said amount. According to the Nominal Roll, the petitioner's conduct in jail has been satisfactory. He has not misused the liberty earlier granted to him from 23.02.2018 to 09.03.2018.
In view of the above, the petitioner's furlough condition is modified to 'a personal bond of Rs. 4,000/-' instead of 'a personal bond of Rs. 20,000/-'. The other conditions shall remain same. The petition is allowed and disposed-off in the above terms.
A copy of this order be communicated to the Jail Superintendent concerned through the police.
