% 10.08.2016 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.763/2014 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 498A/ 406/ 34 IPC against the petitioners.
The complainant is present in Court. She is identified by the Investigating Officer. She has also produced her ID card, which has been shown to the Court and returned.
The parties have arrived at a settlement on 04.11.2015 for Rs.40,000/, which has been placed on record. Under the settlement, the complainant has already received an amount of Rs.20,000/-. The balance amount of
Rs.20,000/- has been tendered to her in Court today. The complainant states that she joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question. Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings arising therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
