Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.

Respondent no.2 Bobby is present in Court and accepts notice. He has been identified by ASI Vikram Singh of police station Adarsh Nagar. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, wherein petitioners assaulted respondent no. 2, which led to registration of FIR no. 451/2016 under Sections 308/34 IPC at police station Adarsh Nagar on the complaint of respondent no. 2.

With the intervention of their common friends and

elders in the family, petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.

Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioners of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and he has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioners.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2, in the interest of justice, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
