% 20.10.2016 Vide this writ petition, the petitioner prays that directions be issued to the respondent for interrogation under Section 108 of the Customs Act, 1962 within office hours in the presence of his counsel at a visible distance.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent has lifted the petitioner from his house without issuing any notice. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that notice was issued to petitioner on 05.10.2016 for appearing before the concerned officials on 05.10.2016 itself at 12:45 PM. Statement under Section 108 of the Act has already been recorded and petitioner has been sent to custody. Be that as it may, without going into allegations and counter allegations of the parties, in my view, this petition has been rendered

infructuous in view of subsequent developments. Disposed of accordingly.
