CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 02.08.2016 Disputes between the husband and wife had led to registration of the present FIR No. 541/2013 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC at Police Station Najafgarh. Now, husband and wife have resolved their differences and have started living together.

Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Anita Dagar, P.S. Najafgarh. Respondent no. 2 has admitted that she is living with the petitioner no. 1 for the last two years. She submits that FIR may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the facts that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have resolved their differences and have started living together, no fruitful

purpose would be served by keeping the criminal proceedings pending. In the interest of justice, the FIR No. 541/2013 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC at Police Station Najafgarh, Delhi and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
