versus STATE OF NCT OF DELHI & ANR ..... Respondents Through: Ms.Manjeet Arya, APP for State.

Respondent Nos.2 & 3 in person.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 06.08.2018 Respondent Nos.2 & 3 are present in Court.
They have been identified by S.I. Ashwani, P.S. Jyoti Nagar. Respondent No.3 is daughter of respondent No.2. F.I.R. was registered under Sections 365/507/34 IPC at P.S. Jyoti Nagar on the complaint of respondent No.2. Respondent No.2 has alleged in the FIR his daughter, respondent No.3 who was about 17 1⁄2 yrs old at that time was missing from the house and he suspected that petitioner had taken away his daughter. Respondent Nos. 2 & 3 submit that matter has been amicably settled between them and the petitioner. They submit that they have settled the matter of their own free will and without any undue
force, pressure or coercion and they have no objection if in case FIR No.459/2015 under Sections 365/507/34 IPC at P.S. Jyoti Nagar and consequent pleadings are quashed. Affidavits of respondent Nos.2 & 3 are also on record at pages 36-39.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent nos. 2 & 3 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
