% 07.02.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent to fix his seniority in the list of Applicants eligible for grant of alternate plot. Though time was granted to learned counsel for the respondent to file the counter affidavit, the same has not been done.

However, today learned counsel for the respondent hands over a copy of the minutes of the Recommendation Committee held on 26th September, 2017 vide reference No.F.31(65)/8464/2010/L&B/ ALT dated 20.09.2010 and submits that upon consideration of the petitioner's case, the Committee has allotted a seniority number '8032a' to the petitioner. She, therefore, submits that in view of the minutes of the Recommendation Committee, the present writ petition has become infructuous. A copy of the said minutes is taken on record and a copy thereof has also been handed over to learned

counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned counsel for the respondent, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the prayer in the writ petition stands satisfied and the petition may be disposed of with directions to the respondent to consider the petitioner's case for allotment of alternate plot as per the seniority position allotted to him in the list.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
